ABOUT THE PROJECT
Project no. STARTUP-2024-RENDEZVENY-0043 has been implemented with the support provided by the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund, financed under the 2022-1.1.2-STARTUP-2022-00001 funding scheme.
This project supports the organization of high-quality professional startup ecosystem events in Hungary, focusing on networking, knowledge sharing, and community building among startups, investors, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
The funding enables Startup Hungary to host three First Monday events in June, July, and September 2025, each designed to connect key players, share best practices, and strengthen Hungary’s role in the Central and Eastern European startup scene.
Goals
Strengthen the Hungarian startup ecosystem through regular, high-impact gatherings.
Provide a platform for founders, investors, and operators to share insights and explore collaboration.
Facilitate connections between local startups and regional/global opportunities.
Showcase innovation and emerging trends in the startup landscape.
Activities
Monthly First Monday events with keynote talks, panels, and networking sessions.
Curated programs bringing together experienced founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders.
Discussions on market trends, fundraising, scaling strategies, and technological innovation.
Impact
By bringing the ecosystem together more frequently and purposefully, the project:
Fosters a culture of collaboration and openness.
Strengthens international connections for Hungarian startups.
Enhances Hungary’s visibility on the European startup map.
Organized by: Startup Hungary
